For those sceptical about getting this set for yourself or another, don't be. I bought the yaiba ct-3x (the red bike) and this thing is the real deal and a great buy for the price, it is accurate to the game, has a good size to it, and has quality pieces. The instructions were east to follow, the set is about as technical as a Lego technic set of the same nature, so a little challenge but relatively easy to assemble. This is not a fake review. For the price it can't be beaten. Quality of the instructions were on par with Lego, very clear and easy to understand. Quality of the plastic is just fine, like I said, its hard to beat with that price. If I didn't know any better I would swear it was Lego. The Quality of the decals is amazing! No paper decals, they're all transferrable vinyl, so no need to worry about sticking them in the wrong place, they can be moved with relative care. 10/10, will absolutely be buying other kits. The build was very straightforward and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. At first I thought I had some parts missing but if you have time my suggestion is to organize the parts and compare the part count to the master list on the back of the instructions.I was a child of the 80s... and Legos were always a part of my life.Of course.. so were the 'knock off' Legos. For the younger kids, there were MegaBlocks, sure, but you'd also occasionally run into the dollar store brand, or you'd have that one friend, who'd somehow acquire a ton of building bricks, but none of them were actually what you'd really want to play with on a regular basis. They'd either be too tight, or too loose, and the worst part was the fact they rarely worked with the other brands, even the other knock offs.Fast forward to the mid 2000s, when I was trying to get my daughter interested in building. She'd do a few things, here and there, and seemed to enjoy it.. but she was constantly being bombarded with all of the over the top 'Girlie' things, too, and those eventually won out, so all of my old building blocks and interests, were put to the side.A few weeks ago, a friend and I were discussing things that relax our overly taxed brains.. and he shared with me his hobby that lets him relax. Brick building...Wait a sec.. Don't you mean 'Lego Building'?As it turns out, no, actually. He shared with me, that many in the brick building communities have long since turned to alternative brands, for bricks and designs. As you can imagine, my immediate response was one of disdain... seriously? I remembered all too well, what 'Alternative' bricks were like.Still, he persisted, and recommended I pick up a set, just to get a feel for it.Having just finished up Cyberpunk, I found this model out here, and showed it to him. He seemed genuinely happy to see that I settled on something made by 'Cada' bricks.. so I guessed that was a good sign.So.. here I am, about 12 hours later... and I gotta say.. wow... just WOW. Is THIS really indicative of what the Alternative brands have started producing? If so, please sign me me up. This build wasn't super easy, nor was it too complex.. Only a couple of times did I have to wonder exactly what I was supposed to be doing, and the end result is something fantastic. The only time I had to worry about any fitment issues, was with the red tubes, on the back of the car, and that was near the very end of the build. Due to the fact that the clamps don't seem to hold onto the red tubing that well, I opted to use a small touch of superglue to hold the tubes into those clamps. It's done in such a way, that if I opt to disassemble the vehicle, I will only have the tubing attached the clamps, and nothing else. That said, there are a number of designs and options, that I've never seen used before, and all of the new shapes of bricks, are just so different to what I played with as a kid.I DO wonder about some of the age limits on these types of kits, however. Some of the posts have to be pressed into place, across multiple friction points, which requires some pretty steady pressure.. not entirely sure an 8 year old could pull it off.Overall, though, I'm seriously impressed with this build, and the entire time working on it, I was never once stressed out, so I think I'm looking forward to another build, in the near future. My son liked the designer, he was happy with such a gift. The constructor is made with high quality, all the parts fit well together, my son had no problems during assembly. Also, all the details of the designer were in stock. The designer has a good instruction where all the assembly steps are shown step by step. Our son had a great time building this building set.I have a decent LEGO collection of vehicles of all price ranges. I have been increasing it with some other off brand that are as great as the so called "real deal", but at a much lower price. I had the opportunity to build and test this one this week and it was an enjoyable experience (if you are a fan off building blocks). The quality of the bricks, the colors uniformity, every characteristics of this kit is at par in terms of quality with the leading brand. The instructions and process was very smooth (challenging at times), it has 4 instructions booklets and an equal amount of numbered sets of bagged parts (4). While the booklets transición in letters (A, B, C and D), obviously it refers to the 4 sets of bagged parts. It took me two evenings to put this nice car together. I was worried about the doors mechanism at first (I had a rough time with another set I built in which it took me a while to get it right), but this one system felt less complicated and I got it right on the first try. There are maybe 3 items in the whole process that may require some attention such as when attaching two of the black rubber rods (no mention of a needed part to hold in place), so I used 2 of the extra parts that were left to attach them. Overall, it is an excellent kit well worth its price.Easy to follow instruction booklets (yes, there are two) for a very, very fun and unique build. This thing is replica-sized, presumably as large as the firearm would be. Removable magazine and working trigger; this will be displayed as it should be.
